Three-year commitment brings full-time student support services in Dickens County, building on Galaxy's presence in the region

This commitment further deepens Galaxy's investment in the community that is home to its Helios data center campus.
The partnership will fund a full-time CIS Site Coordinator based in Dickens County, expanding the organization’s footprint in the South Plains region. Partnering with Communities In Schools of the South Plains gives these students access to resources that can change the trajectory of their lives. That's exactly the kind of impact we want our presence here to have," said Joel Riedel, Community Relations Manager, Galaxy Data Centers – Helios.
"Our commitment is and always has been to show up for students who need us most. This investment allows us to bring full-time CIS services to Dickens County students," said Kenna West, Chief Executive Officer of Communities In Schools of the South Plains. “We’re grateful that Galaxy quickly recognized the impact that CIS has on our South Plains schools and their commitment to invest directly in students' and families' futures. We are deeply honored to work alongside Dickens County educators and many organizations already invested in this work to make a transformative difference for these kids."
"Galaxy's sponsorship of CIS is much more than a financial contribution: it's an investment in the success and well-being of our students,” said Tanya Phillips, Spur ISD Superintendent. “I have had the privilege of working with Communities In Schools staff at other schools and understand firsthand the difference they can make. Their ability to connect with students, remove barriers to learning and support every part of a school community is remarkable. I'm confident this partnership will be a tremendous benefit and will positively impact countless students and families."
