Alex Field is Vice President of Engineering, Managing Director & Member of the Executive Committee at Galaxy. Prior to joining the firm, Alex was actively investing & advising across public and private markets, including DeFi protocols & Web3 startups. Previously, Alex was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, having over 20 years of experience developing financial markets software and managing large global engineering teams, as well as being an early investor in both BTC and ETH.
