Phil is also the founder of the Center for Policing Equity, focusing on leveraging data and scientific analyses to combat inequitable policing.

We go back and forth on the state of the movement to reform the criminal justice system, and Phil details where he is optimistic and pessimistic. From there, the conversation zooms in on policing and how we can reimagine these systems using data.
