James’s focus on the stablecoin card space, one of the most important drivers of crypto’s next phase of adoption, has been particularly impactful. Our early conviction in this category led to investments in companies including RedotPay and Rain, both of which achieved unicorn status this year following market-leading growth. James has also played a key role in thesis development across payments, capital markets, and software infrastructure, drawing on his deep network and prior research and experience investing in those categories.

Prior to Galaxy Ventures, James was an investor at Point72 Ventures, where he led investments across the digital assets space, and began his venture career at DRW VC, focusing on high-growth crypto and capital markets businesses.
