Building the Infrastructure for an AI-Powered Future

Demand for scalable infrastructure to power high-performance compute (“HPC”) and artificial intelligence (“AI”) infrastructure is soaring. At Galaxy, we’re not just watching this trend–we're actively building and helping to meet the demand.
Helios, Galaxy’s flagship data center campus in West Texas, is at the forefront of the AI revolution. Originally developed as a high-performance bitcoin mining facility, Helios is now being repurposed to power AI, marking a critical inflection point for both Galaxy and the broader data center industry. Through our Data Centers business, we’re delivering the compute power and energy readiness that next-generation AI and HPC workloads demand.
With 800 megawatts of approved power capacity today and the potential to scale up to 2.5 gigawatts over the next decade, Helios ranks among the largest data center developments in North America. A recently announced 15-year initial lease agreement with CoreWeave is a major milestone in Galaxy’s evolution as a trusted partner in cutting-edge data center infrastructure. This commitment underscores Galaxy’s broader diversification strategy, providing a stable, recurring revenue stream that is completely uncorrelated with digital asset prices.
“Galaxy is positioned to not only be one of the largest early developers of large-scale next-gen data center infrastructure at Helios,” said Chris Ferraro, President and CIO of Galaxy, “but also to then leverage that platform to grow into one of the long-term winners in the space.”

What sets Helios apart is its ability to rapidly deploy AI data center infrastructure by repurposing existing assets on an expedited timeline. While new developments often face multi-year delays, Helios is uniquely positioned to come online faster, bringing scalable, energy-ready infrastructure to market when it’s needed most. This advantage not only has the potential to establish Texas’s position as the leading state for data center growth but also highlights Galaxy’s role as a first mover in the emerging West Texas Data Crescent—one of the only gigawatt-scale AI data center markets in the U.S.
As enterprises, innovators, and institutions push the boundaries of what's possible with AI, we’re positioned to provide the infrastructure support they can build on—with the same relentless execution Galaxy is known for.
