The CIMSPIP is a multi-authored and multi-state project funded in 2000 by the USDA under the Risk Assessment and Mitigation Program. The proposed program objectives will be completed by 2005. The overall goal of the project is to develop technologies for stored product insect management that rely on alternatives to organophosphate pesticides and the fumigants methyl bromide and phosphine.
