Freedom to Write - On behalf of writers and journalists everywhere, the Freedom to Write Program works to defend freedom of expression and to resist censorship worldwide. Specific campaign and action information is updated regularly in the FTW Bulletin. Readers and Writers - PEN sends writers and their books to literacy programs, community centers, schools, prisons, and other sites across the U.
