Amanda - 12/17/08 09:31:43 - 67.162.207.251I made an order for 1 set of stemless champagne glasses (Bodum) on 12/3/08. In the midst of all of the Christmas shopping and other things being shipped to me, I didn't realize I was missing them until this past weekend (12/13/08). I then realized that I had not received any email communications from them concerning my order or a tracking/shipping confirmation. My husband then noted that the charge had not hit our account. Their call in customer service is not available ont he weekend and the promised 24 hour email response was non existent. I emailed on Saturday 12/13/08 and have yet to hear anything. I called on 12/15/08 and the items are not in stock and the company has stopped making them. The website will not be updated until AFTER Christmas.
My big complaint is that this was a Christmas gift for my Mother-in-Law. I was never notified or contacted concerning the issue. I'm just glad I caught it early enough to make a new order from somewhere else. The man on the phone almost treated it as if it were my fault that I was not contacted by them.
It was completely frustrating and I will not order from them again.
