The N.E.P.F.H.A. represents Paso Fino owners, breeders, and trainers located in the Northeastern States, and Quebec Canada. Members of the Northeast Region represent eight states, with membership currently over 200 individuals . Since it's inception in 1972 as an officially sanctioned Paso Fino Horse Club, the Northeast Region has seen a significant increase in its members and horses.
