anne - 08/25/09 23:13:03 - 115.132.64.40We booked a a 6 days 5 night tour package to Hong Kong & Shenzen from the 19/08 to 24/08 flying out from Kuala Lumpur and was absolutely appalled by what was offered. Of most dissapointment is that, there was no coordination between the tour guides. We had 3 different guides in hong kong and another one in shenzen. Each guide had no idea about what our itinerary was and we had to explain it to each of them as we had others on the tour who had different packages. In addition, there was no co-ordination between hong kong and shenzhen. There was no clear explanation of who was going to meet us and where. We had queue up to buy our own train tickets back to Hong kong. Back in Hong Kong again when we asked the guide about the arrangements on airport transfers back to KL, he said that he'll ring to tell us the next day or else we are requested to ring him instead. We spent almost the whole trip just tryin to get information from them which they didnt know themselves most of the time.
If we had to make the effort to find out everything ourselves all the time,check in ourselves, chase around tryin to find who is the right contact person, queue for our own tickets n find our way around the station ourselves plus be served bad food.. i don't see why I needed them in the first place. It was a total waste of money and would neva use Asia Travel Mart to book anything with them again. To those who decide to, make sure u ask them every single thing and expect them to know nothing.
