jenny - 01/14/09 15:57:52 - 70.249.157.165I want to be sure that every potential customer of Only Toys is aware that Only Toys is in no way a customer service oriented business. I purchased a Plan City play table from Only Toys for my son for Christmas. When it arrived we assembled it and realized that the "city" (train set that was the same brand as the table) did not fit the table. The table was advertised on the Only Toys website as a table to house your Plan City items, so I obviously assumed that the Plan City should fit on the Plan City table. Not rocket science right!! I called the toys manufacturer "plan" to be sure we hadn't assembled it incorrectly and Plan Toys advised me that the Plan City actually would not fit on any of the tables and that this table should not have been sold to the general public, only to retailers as it will not fit the Plan city road and rail system. I am writing this review because after learning that this product was inequipped for it's implied function I requested a return from ONly Toys. I spoke directly with the owner of the company who was INCREDIBLY and horribly rude and told me originally that I would not be able to return this $250 product that DIDN'T WORK!! I sent him a formal request for a return and in reply he sent me an incredibly long and demeaning email going great lengths to explain my "error" in purchasing the item. My philosophy is that customers should be able to return any item HASSLE FREE if it doesn't serve the purpose you have implied for it on your website!! This is absolutely unacceptable to me. After some discussion he ended up agreeing to return the item with some MAJOR criteria involved. Talk about a HUGE HASSLE for a return. Please know that if you buy a toy from this company and have any problem with it you will probably encounter a major problem if you want to return it. It wasn't worth it to me to meet all of his silly criteria to get the thing back to him, so I'm going to sell it on ebay. I don't believe that I have ever been treated so horribly by a company in my life. I will NEVER purchase anything from this website again and I would strongly discourage anyone else from shopping there as well.
