The American Association of Veterinary Anatomists
We are a membership organization with the stated goal of the advancement of veterinary anatomical science. The AAVA was founded in 1949 and has several hundred members. Our membership includes faculty, staff, students in the 31 North American colleges of veterinary medicine, and in many more colleges and universities worldwide; also private scholars and veterinary practitioners . Anyone with an active interest in veterinary anatomy is eligible for membership.
