Kathleen Dougherty - 10/25/09 14:54:08 - 99.196.32.58Hello, I was moved by this latest installment of Cloud's band, as I have been by the others. In trying to join the online discussion with the narrator, the site was down. I would just like to add my voice in support of the work she is doing and am hoping the Bureau of Land Management is kind to these beautiful and honorable animals.
Thank you for airing such documentaries.
Sincerely, Kathleen
Patty Furman - 10/25/09 16:22:21 - 207.200.116.65I just watched the 3rd program about Cloud and the wild horses of the Arrowheads. As with the other programs I enjoyed seeing the continuing stories of these beautiful horses. I was saddened by the BLM's removal of some of Cloud's family and especially the new colt, Image. What will happen to him without his mother? I tired to join the online chat but was not able to locate it. I feel so sorry for these wonderful animals when their families are disrupted. Is there a way to stop the capture of these magnificant horses? Or is it really in their best interest to do this? Just want to thank Ginger Kathrens for documenting the story of the Arrowhead horses. I know it must be hard at times for her to witness the things that happen. I have purchased both her previous books and dvd's of the programs and will do the same with the new book and dvd. Peace, Patty
Trish - 10/25/09 17:09:31 - 24.113.155.83As I watched the end of the third program about the wild Arrowhead horses, I was overwhelmed by emotion and admiration for these magnificent creatures. Upon hearing that BLM captured the bands and auctioned some, I actually began to tear up and am very saddened. After investing such emotions in the Cloud saga, it's so very sad to realize that (some) are no longer wild and free. Unless it's absolutely necessary that horses be taken from the wild, why can't we utilize the countless domestic horses that need homes?
