Sarah Baugher - 10/15/08 15:28:08 - 65.54.154.12I recently flew round trips - Burlington, VT to Philadelphia to Fort Myers, FL and back again. Timely, safe trips were much appreciated. Baggage issues, not so much. Both ways I paid $15 to check my roller bag. Most other passengers did not and as a zone 6 border, there was no room for my small canvas overnight bag and it had to be shoved under the seat. Also, other passengers (with no space left) had their bags checked at the gate. Were they charged $15? I don't know. I do know that bags much larger than my medium size roller bag were forced in the overhead storage leaving little room for zone 6 passenger bags. There must be a better way.
