Environmental Technology Laboratory
Located in Boulder, Colorado, the Environmental Technology Laboratory supports NOAA's environmental monitoring and stewardship charter by performing oceanic and atmospheric research and developing new remote-sensing systems. To this end, we gather experts in all aspects of how radio, radar, light, and sound waves interact with the ocean and atmosphere. We find innovative ways to use these waves to study atmospheric and oceanic processes and to probe regions that are not readily accessible by direct measurem
