Brookley, W.H. Brookley, Walter E. Lees, a pioneer pilot, soloed in 1912 and continued flying until 1945. He worked with Glenn Curtiss and Tom Benoist. He set an endurance record in a Packard diesel powered Bellanca in 1931.
