The New England Complex Systems Institute (NECSI) is an independent educational and research institute established as a joint effort of faculty from New England area institutions for the advancement of interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, building on the wealth of the academic environment of the New England area outside of institutional and departmental boundaries.
