The Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) is a non-profitorganization of eye banks dedicated to the restoration of sight through the promotion and advancement of eye banking. Established in 1961 by the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Committee on Eye Banks, EBAA's member eye banks are located in 43 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada. These eye banks make possible more than 41, 300 sight restoring transplants annually.

The Eye-Bank recovers, evaluates and distributes corneal tissue for transplantation and also funds preliminary scientific inquiry into the causes, cures and prevention of blinding eye diseases that cannot be reversed by transplant surgery.

The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank is a project of the Lions Clubs of Colorado and Wyoming and is a non-profit organization. RMLEB has provided thousands of sight restoring corneas and scleral grafts to ophthalmologists around the world.
