Sr. Engineer (C# .NET XML)_SLC STAFFING Date: Tue, 20 Oct 03:45 PM Description We are hiring senior level .NET software engineers to work on a project to develop solutions to manage the clients digital text conversion and production. The Client has a growing need for talented individuals who can work to develop projects Strong XML skills and some awareness of language text publishing desired. We are seeking individuals who are excited about working to deliver high quality, scalable software solutions. This position is contingent. It is anticipated to last 6 -12 months with the possibility of conversion or renewal up to 2 years. This position will utilize the following technologies (but not limited to): • C# • .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 • ASP.NET • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) • Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) • LINQ and Entity Framework • TFS • XML a plus • XQuery a plus This position will operate within established methodologies, procedures, policies and guidelines. Eagerness to solve complex problems with professional techniques and proven development principles. Willingness to engage closely with team and customer alike to create a valuable working experience for all. We need people that can focus on delivering high-quality solutions, quickly. Qualifications Requirements: • Strong technical aptitude. • Strong communication and problem solving skills. • Experience developing frameworks or similar API work preferred. • Solid understanding of enterprise system and application design • Should have at least some hands-on exposure to the technologies listed, 5 - 8 years of relevant experience required. • BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent. • C# skills and object oriented design experience. • Experience in Java web application development a plus. • Experience in database design and SQL. • Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, and agile development methodologies desired. • Knowledge of XML development and XQuery desried. • Experience with Marklogic, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite desired. • PROBLEM SOLVERS: Ideal candidates will be those that can willingly work from any new platform, eagerly become an expert, and find/create solutions to the problems they face. • http://www.slc-staffing.com
